It’s an exciting time to join Redmayne Bentley. After recently celebrating our 150th year in business, we are entering the next stage of our firm‑wide strategy — building on our strong heritage while continuing to evolve, improve and invest in the future.

Our award‑winning Investment Management team is central to delivering this strategy. To support this, we are looking for a new colleague to support three of our Investment Managers as an Investment Executive.

In this role, you will provide valuable support to our Investment Managers throughout the client journey. From being one of the first points of contact for client queries, through to supporting the Investment Managers with portfolio construction and placing trades, this is a role for a strong all-rounder who is not afraid to get involved.

With a solid toolkit of administrative skills and a passion for investments, this is a role where you could make a sizeable positive impact for our IMs and our clients.

This role gives you wider exposure to, and involvement in, more complex duties and responsibilities – helping you put the knowledge you have gained from your qualifications into practical use.

This is a highly client-facing role, so you will need to be a confident communicator, who can handle a variety of queries clearly and sensitively.

This role provides essential support to the three Investment Managers you would be supporting, including daily tasks such as handling post and incoming client queries. As a result, this role requires presence in the London Office 5 days per week and hybrid working will not be considered.

Further specific details about the role can be found in the job description attached to this advert.

What we’re looking for

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Level 4 CISI Investment Advice Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6 months’ work experience within UK Financial Services.

Desirable

  • Previous work experience within Investments or Wealth Management.
  • Good understanding of Capital Gains Tax, corporate actions and operational procedures relating to investments.

Skills And Behaviours

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, capable of building trust and rapport across diverse teams.
  • Ability to adapt, innovate and analyse complex information.
  • Resilience under pressure – you can prioritise effectively and meet critical deadlines and SLAs.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven commitment to professional development, both personal and organisational.

What does the future look like?

Many of our Investment Executives have progressed from this role into multiple specialist areas within Investment Management. Redmayne Bentley has a proud history of internal development and promotion, so there are options available for you to enjoy a long and varied career with us.

Redmayne Bentley also provides full support for colleagues to achieve further industry standard qualifications, if that is something they wish to do in the future.

At Redmayne Bentley, our goal is to provide excellent personal investment services that enhance clients’ wealth.

It is an exciting time to be part of our firm, having recently launched our new five-year business plan to improve, grow and accelerate. We will achieve this through seeking operational and productivity improvements, growing the investment management and financial planning services, leveraging and protecting existing income lines and considering new acquisition opportunities.

As one of the UK’s largest independent investment management and stockbroking firms, we are committed to building a modern and diverse workplace where our people are offered unique opportunities to learn, grow and develop across the financial sector.

Our friendly, inclusive and collaborative environment rewards hard work with generous perks and benefits, and we are genuinely committed to your wellbeing through our industry commended &You wellbeing framework.
