It is an exciting time to join us at Redmayne Bentley. After recently celebrating our 150th year in business, we are embarking on the next stage of our firm-wide strategy to build, improve and develop upon our strong, historic foundations.

As part of this growth and success, we are now looking for an outstanding leader to oversee three of our Operations teams and provide strategic insight and support to our Director of Operations.

What You Will Do

As the Head of Operational Services, your primary responsibility will be maintaining oversight and strategic responsibility for the Onboarding & AML, Custody Management/Transfers and Settlements teams.

You will have the trust and autonomy to lead these teams and review processes, systems and ways of working – always keeping excellent client outcomes at the heart of all that we do.

We want you to pass on your experience and knowledge to the teams’ Managers and Assistant Managers, giving them valuable coaching and direction whilst ensuring all appropriate operational controls and risk mitigation is in place.

You will be a passionate advocate for continuous improvement, innovation and change, bringing your teams along with you as the firm embraces new technologies and opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Holds CISI Investment Operations Certificate (or equivalent) or committed to completing within first two years of employment (full support would be given).
  • Proven leadership experience from Financial Services background, ideally in Wealth Management or brokerage.
  • Multiple years of experience operating as a Senior Manager/Head of or higher.
  • Significant track record of success from leading cross-functional teams within Financial Services.
  • Strong regulatory knowledge, particularly related to Consumer Duty and its impacts on operational teams.

Desirable

  • Working experience of Crest and managing global custodian relationships.
  • Previous successful project/programme management experience
  • Strong knowledge of CASS & COBS rules.
